If I get a DTV converter box will I have to get cable to use it? Does it matter which DTV converter box you buy for the brand of T.V. that you have? Could you please help me in this matter.
Thank You,
angelswwjd
Crystal, you don’t need cable service to use it. If you have cable service already, DTV converter box is not necessary because your cable service will take care of the DTV transition for you. You only need a DTV converter box if you are using an antenna(either indoor or through your building) to receive TV signal over-the-air. It does not matter which brand of TV you have. All of the DTV converter boxes reviewed here have RF output (same as your antenna). You can use your existing coaxial cable to connect your antenna to the DTV converter box and then to your TV.
I lovve reading a post that will make men and women think.
Also, many thanks foor allowing me to comment!
